This work explores through costume and performance the self-abusing and defeating element of human identity. It externalises inner demons in the form of dueling knights who wear the same distorted face.

Absurdity is utilised to strengthen the commentary on the pointlessness of ‘beating ones self up’. This is done via a Monty Pythonesque style performance (with tomato sauce).
