The In-yer-face performance explores intimate relationships to self and other and the development of identity within a partnership. It traverses a range of emotional states; struggle, awkwardness, collaboration, new discovery, coming out, relating, using humour and absurdity to make accessible the examination of intimate relationships which are at times difficult.
An installation comprised of a seat, video and costume remnants remained in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition.
The first video is from the installation, the second is the live performance.
Performed at Coalesce’s ’ In-Ter-Face’ exhibition at D11 Art Gallery
